About us
RESPOLIS (Responsibility in Politics) is an international network committed with reinventing politics and democracy, and adapt them to the 21century human and ecological needs.
Participants are simple citizens, who believe that fundamental changes are necessary in their country and abroad, and who want to become the actors of an ethical "glocalization" of politics.
We support initiatives aiming to produce a change in political orientation and having in common, other than claim and lobbyism on governments and existing institutions, the promotion of people’s appropriation of politics.
We promote the citizen’s empowerment and sovereignty that were common elements of democracy in Ancient Greece, while they became simplified under the formula of representative systems in the Modern Age. People’s Will is nowadays kidnapped by neoliberalism, and (...)
